Technische Universität Chemnitz, TU Chemnitz, is a public university in Chemnitz, Germany. TU Chemnitz is the third-largest university in Saxony, Germany, and has over 11,400 students. TU Chemnitz is renowned for its faculty, education, and research. TU Chemnitz was founded in 1836 as “Königliche Gewerbeschule”. It was then raised to Technische Hochschule in 1963. What is the Embedded Systems course about?

The Embedded Systems course offered by TU Chemnitz is an English Language course which provides education with a focus on future demand and challenges of embedded systems, which are important in industries as a key technology, and in keeping daily lives safer and comfortable. The aim of the course is to develop intelligent system solutions by combining

  • microsystem technologies,

Embedded Systems is a four-semester program. The program is a part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.  The course also provides practical training as well as soft skills. Automotive Software Engineering is a 4-term duration course which is offered by TU Chemnitz. The course can start in the winter term as well as the summer term. Taught in German as well as English, the main focus of the master’s course are specific aspects of the development of hardware/ software systems. The course provides education and skills in the following fields:

  • Automotive Software Engineering 
  • Embedded Systems 
  • Real-Time and Communication Systems 

Automotive Software Engineering is a part of the Faculty of Computer Science. On completing the course, a smooth transition to doctoral programs and execution of challenging activities in the field of technical development of control systems for vehicles, and machinery becomes easy.

This campus is one of the biggest campuses which includes the President’s Office, the International Library, libraries, and the Student Service Point. The campus also has a number of departments, like the Department of Finance, and the Department of Human Resources.
