What Is Osmania University?
Osmania University, often called OU, is a public state university in Hyderabad, Telangana, established in 1918 by Mir Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. It is the seventh oldest university in India and the third oldest in South India, holding NAAC A+ accreditation and University with Potential for Excellence status.
