Eligibility and Fees
You will need an average of 2.5 GPA to get in. But need not worry if it is lower as you might still be considered through case by case basis. Students attending two-year institutions will be considered, as well.
The tuition and program are around 11 to 12 thousand dollars, and the housing fee is separate, which could be around 5-8 thousand dollars, both depends and varies throughout the year and sessions.
The fee includes a wide range of facilities such as housing, overseas health insurance, orientation programs, cultural programs, wireless internet, counseling, visa preparation assistance, airport pickup, and many more. However, what’s not included in the fee are student visas, meals during the semester, academic books, and few others.
Internships and Scholarships
Apart from a huge range of opportunities, Macquarie University also provides an optional internship and money for scholarships.
The university makes available mostly business internships to the students of the same discipline, providing them with an opportunity to gain professional experience with the non-profit organization, government agency, private company, or any other industry partners. Completing an internship earns you credits also.
The scholarship focuses on three types of scholarships, which are Merit-based- for the students with academic excellence, Need-based- for the students with good merit points and in need of financial help, and Diversity based- for the students who come from underrepresented communities.
