Kakatiya University is a non-private university situated in Warangal in the Telangana state of India. A few years back this university was granted an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. The university totally has about 120 programs at graduation and postgraduation levels in various streams like arts, science, commerce and, social sciences, engineering, and pharmaceutical sciences.

The university includes many affiliated institutes and constituent colleges ranging across 4 districts of Telangana. The college staff includes a large number of teaching and non-teaching staff.
