Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, in 2006. It has 5 major departments namely: biological sciences, chemical sciences; earth sciences, mathematics and statistics, and physical sciences. The Last date for filling the application form is 30th June 2020 for undergraduate Research courses. Aptitude Test/ GD-PI/ Interview has been discarded for PG courses (M.Tech/ M.Des/ M. Mgt) due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Institute has uploaded 2nd round M.Tech admission offers on the COAP portal. The applicants may check and exercise their options. To get admission in M.Tech and M.Mgt programs, candidates have to appear for GD and PI interview rounds after getting shortlisted based on GATE/CAT/GMAT Scores

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a Fellowship/Scholarship program in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Its main is to attract exceptionally highly motivated & excellent students for pursuing basic science courses and research careers in science.
Offers are sent to students with ranks in KVPY clearing a particular cut-off. KVPY is not only a fellowship nut also a criterion to get admission in any of the departments of the IISc. KVPY exam is also a good opportunity to test your concepts understanding and application of logic, which is required to clear other competitive exams like JEE Mains etc.

Computer science and automation is a department of Indian Institute of Science (IISc). This department primarily focuses on creative research in 3 ways of computer science: Theoretical computer science, Computer systems, and software, intelligent systems. IISC internships
CENSE at IISC conducts an internship program every summer, for Undergraduate and Master’s students from India and abroad. They are selected through a difficult and competitive process. The training covers a variety of topics that comes under science and engineering. The training period is 8 -10 weeks duration. The stipend paid to the eligible candidates is around Rs 5000/month. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this training is on hold until IISC reopens.

IISc Aerospace
Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is a research university for higher education. It is located in Bangalore city, Karnataka. Aerospace Engineering is a very good department for electrical and mechanical engineering in IISc.
