De Montfort University (DMU) is a world-level institution established in the year 1870 by the name of Leicester school of art. It is a public university with its settled goals of creating world-class education. Later in the year 1992, the university was renamed to be known as De Montfort University after the great 13th-century Earl of Leicester named Simon De Montfort, who was known for his act of creating the establishment of the first parliament in 1265. De Montfort University is currently holding up around 27000 students, including full and part-time students.
