Alagappa University is a university which is based on Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. It was found by Alagappa Chettiar in 1947. Tamil Nadu government gave the status of Public university in 1985. It is originated from the College of Alagappa Arts. To make this university to public Tamil Nadu Govt. Used Tamil Nadu Universities Act, 2002.
It is recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission) of India. It offers the courses in Regular Mode, Distance Mode, Week-End & Collaborative Mode. It has 2 constituent College, 44 Department, 9 Center on its campus. In Sivanga District there are 46 Affiliated Colleges. One Constituent College of Alagappa University Arts and Sciences and one autonomous college are located in Kilakkarai and Paramakudi.
This University is the part of the Association Of Indian Universities (AIU) and Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). Ans. Here are the steps for getting a degree certificate from Alagappa University:
1. You need to get a requisition Letter addressing the Controller of Examinations, Alagappa University, Karaikudi.
