The Technische Universität Braunschweig  is the oldest Technical University in Germany, known for being the Technical University of Braunschweig, which is also commonly known as the TU Braunschweig. It was formed as Collegium Carolinum in 1745 and is a member of TU9, a society of the most famous and largest German technology institutes. Today, the university has almost 1,600 non-German students from over 80 countries in a total student community of approximately 15,000, who study either as first graduates or in a bilateral exchange.Over the past years, the TU Braunschweig has developed educational connections both at the individual and at the institutional level with numerous foreign universities. The TU Braunschweig is one of the leading German third-party financing universities.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Master in Environmental Engineering, Master of Science in Computational Sciences in Engineering, Master of Science in Physics has its first year tuition fees around INR 79 Thousand.

Research

The Technical University Braunschweig focuses its research on four main topics: Future Cities, Metrology, Mobility and Infections and Therapy. The TU Braunschweig scientists are designing ideas for smart cities in the future. The goal is to find solutions for smart cities that are effective, environment-friendly, healthy, social and green. In addition to the core areas of research, many interdisciplinary and cross-departmental research organizations are organized in research centers in the research profile of the TU Braunschweig. The research centers include Battery Lab Factory (BLB), Braunschweig Integrated Center of Systems Biology (BRICS), Laboratory for Emerging Nanometrology and Analytics (LENA), Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFF), Aeronautics Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFL),and  Center of Pharmaceutical Engineering (PVZ).
