The Technische Universität Braunschweig is the oldest Technical University in Germany, known for being the Technical University of Braunschweig, which is also commonly known as the TU Braunschweig. It was formed as Collegium Carolinum in 1745 and is a member of TU9, a society of the most famous and largest German technology institutes. The Technical University Braunschweig focuses its research on four main topics: Future Cities, Metrology, Mobility and Infections and Therapy.
