PTE exam means Pearson Test of English exam, which is conducted for Non-Native English speakers who want to study abroad. The PTE Exam 2021 is conducted throughout the year, so candidates who want to attempt this exam are having a high chance to get qualified for this exam.

- The students or the candidates who want to attend this exam need to schedule their time and book their seats in advance along with their exam centers as the date of exams are different from one center to another.
- There is no limit for attempting the PTE exam, the candidates can apply for the exam with a minimum 5 days gap.
- Because of Pandemic situations, the Pearson PLC group stopped conducting exams temporarily. But now open the slots with safety measures in the test centers for PTE Exam 2021.
- The PTE exam is of two types: PTE Academic and PTE home.

- PTE Test can be written multiple times in a year. Candidates need to check and attend their exams.
- In India, the PTE exam dates are available from October 20th to September 2022.
- Candidates need to remember that the PTE test centers are fewer and for every state, only one test center is allocated for the candidates.

- In October 2021: 20, 21, 22 are commonly available in maximum places.

What is meant by the ‘O’ Level exam?
‘O’ exam or ‘O’ level exam is generally conducted and issued by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology). DOEACC Society, New Delhi.
This certificate is issued for students, who completed their one-year foundation course in Computer applications after their 12th grade or ITI certifications.
It is easy to get employment in Government sectors through an ‘O” level certificate.
This ‘O-level test is conducted by the Computer Society of India under the guidance of NIELIT.
There are a few more certifications like A level, B level, C level, certificates for candidates or students who want to study, advanced computer-based studies. All these exams are conducted by NIELIT.
Why is ‘O level certificate needed?
The main aim behind the O-level exam is to empower students by acquiring knowledge related to the Fundamentals of Information Technology. The course mainly focuses on IT tools, Business systems, Web designs, Internet Technology, etc.,
The main advantage of O level certificate is, it will become an added advantage when applying for Central Government jobs where computer certificates are a must.
‘O’ level Exam dates
The ‘O level’ exam is conducted semester-wise every year. Candidates need to apply for the exam after the completion of a 1-year course.
The application procedure for the exam starts on the 1st, September, and the1st, March of every year.
The exam is conducted in two categories
- The theory & practicals
The fees for practicals and theory are different.
- Theory fee structure. Rs. 500
- Practical fee structure Rs. 300
Every year the exam is conducted on the 2nd, Saturday of January, and the 2nd Saturday of July.
The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the results will be announced after 2 months of exams.
The entire course fee is Rs. 15000/ and NIELIT will conduct the entrance exam.

As the PTE exam is the most recommended exam by major foreign universities, the booking for the exam is available online. After the registration in the official web portal, candidates can apply for the exam with a specified exam fee.
While applying for the exam candidates need to provide the passport details, and necessary documents to attend the PTE exam.

- Go to the official PTE web portal.
- click on the registration for creating an account by providing a valid Indian passport for Indian students.
- you will receive the email from the Pearson group within a 2 days time period.
- in the email, log in with your account details.
- search for the nearest exam centers.
- select the date, time as per your convenience and click on the checkout button.
- Later, pay the amount of Rs.13,700/– INR with taxes, and
- You will receive the payment receipt details.
How to fill PTE exam forms
- Candidates or students who want to fill the PTE exam forms need a valid passport as ID proof. And follow the online booking steps to fill the PTE exam form.
- But candidates need to verify their details before the submission as once the payment is done it can’t be reimbursed.
- Students or candidates must clarify their doubts about payments or slot booking before finalising the payment.
- Candidates need to fill the online form according to the passport information.
- Be cautious when filling in personal details like Date of birth, first and last names, etc.
How to reschedule PTE exam dates
PTE exam dates can be rescheduled as per the candidate’s wish, but they need to pay extra money. It will take at least 14 calendar days to reschedule the PTE exam dates.
And also the additional 50% of payment will be charged if you place the rescheduling request within 7to 14 calendar days.
However, candidates can also cancel the PTE exam if he/she does not want to appear for the exam. Candidates need to place the cancellation request for the authority, and it can be approved within 14 calendar days period.
Candidates are eligible to get a refund of the fee only when the test time is high. If he/she cancels the exam before 7days of the exam he /she is not eligible for a refund
How to pay the PTE exam fee
The payment of the PTE exam fee is done through online mode. Candidates can use any cards like Visa cards, Master cards, American Express, JCB, etc., Or by using PTE vouchers from PTE websites.
If you don’t have any of the cards then directly contact the test centers and pay the fee according to their guidance.
