CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE has been formed on 3rd November 1962. CBSE is a form of an educational national level board for private and public schools and organizations. The Union Government of India manages CBSE. All CBSE affiliated schools follow only the NCERT curriculum. CBSE has its headquarters in New Delhi. The official language that CBSE follows is English and Hindi. There are almost 20,300 schools in India that are affiliated to CBSE and 220 schools around 28 foreign countries. Mrs. Anita Karwal is the chairperson of CBSE. 

CBSE for Class 10

CBSE conducts board examinations for the students of class 10th and 12th in March every year. The results of these board exams are declared at the end of May month. These exams are not so tough. The bars of these board exams are set in such a way that every student can pass this exam without facing many difficulties. But the 12th class boards are a bit difficult than the 10th class board. 

Grading of CBSE for Class 10th

The student of class 10th gets their exam result in May every year. The CBSE follows CGPA rule and grading systems. The cutoffs required to obtain a particular grade varies every year. The highest grade CBSE consists of is A1, and the lowest grade is E. 

Changes for 2020 Exam for Class 10th

Now the CBSE has planned to take two separate mathematics board examinations in class 10th that is from starting 2020 sessions. The current exam of mathematics is known as Mathematics Standard, and now new simple mathematics has been introduced, which is known as mathematics Basic. The option of choosing mathematics can opt during the time of registration. Students will get the option of selecting their choice of the test while filling the registration form. 

Tips to prepare for Class 10th boards

Board exams are the most important and necessary part of every student’s life. Students can easily score well if they have proper and effective study-plan. Here are some of the important and meaningful tips for clearing boards exams and to score good marks:

• The first and foremost tip is to begin as early as possible. Students should not wait for the last day to study and prepare.
• Students should make a proper study plan. They should make a proper timetable and allot time for each subject as per their conveyance.
• Students should know the complete syllabus and exam pattern. They should make a list of the syllabus so that they have a proper record of every syllabus.
• Students should also take proper breaks so that the preparation shouldn’t be so hectic for students.
• Students need to stay focused and try to resist their phones and another electronic devices during their study hours.
• Students need to check last year’s sample paper so that they can be aware of the difficulty level of the question paper.
• Students should also know how to manage time so they should keep solving sample paper for previous year’s papers so that they can get the idea about how much time to give under each section.
