What is designing?

UG design courses

Students who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum eligibility criteria are eligible for admission in the UG designing course. It doesn’t matter that you completed your 10+2 from which stream. Students from arts/science/commerce any background can do a course in designing with any specialization.

PG design courses

Students should have completed their undergraduate with a recognized institute or college to take admission to post-graduate design courses. And qualify with the minimum qualifying eligibility criteria. Some colleges for pg level admission prefer designing as their course in graduate.

National Institute of Design – Design Aptitude Test (NID-DAT)

All India Entrance Examination for Design

It is an online test conducted by the Arch College of Design and Business for graduate design programs, which is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, etc. are the courses that are offered by the Exam and Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA), Applied Arts, is also the other courses that are offered by the colleges which are listed in this exam.

NIFT Entrance test

It is held by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). And it is conducted once a year in 32 cities to grant you admission into the 16 NIFT colleges all over the country. Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, etc., and Bachelor of Fashion Technology are some courses that are offered by the colleges listed on this examination.
