Yorkville University is a private university accredited by the province of New Brunswick. Yorkville University Toronto, Ontario

The Yorkville University, in 2007, included the RCC Institute of Technology in its Ontario Division. In 2009, the Academy of Design and the Toronto Film School was acquired by the RCC Institute of Technology. Currently, RCCIT provides professional undergraduate and postgraduate degree and diploma programs in business, technology, and design on the campus as well as through online platforms. The programs offered in Ontario include undergraduate programs like Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Interior Designing.

Yorkville University-New Brunswick

The campus is located at Fredericton in New Brunswick. It comprises a two-story building will all the necessary amenities provided for its students. Yorkville University offers four programs that are delivered online in New Brunswick: 

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA),

• Master of Education in Adult Education (M.Ed.), and

Bachelor of Business Administration 

The course involves rigorous and intensive training for students so that they can build their professional careers with a strong foundation.

In New Brunswick, since all the programs are delivered online, students get an opportunity to learn at the convenience of their houses and can balance family and work commitments alongside. Students can complete their education from any location at any time. They only require an internet connection in any location for pursuing their respective courses and getting access to the course curriculum.

The University was granted the university status to authorize the granting of degrees to students by the Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour.

Yorkville University of Vancouver 

In 2015, British Columbia acquired the authority to conduct courses on campus and online.

 The courses offered at the undergraduate level at the Vancouver Campus are:

• Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in project management, energy management, accounting, and supply chain management. This course is provided on campus as well as through the online platform. The course is industry-oriented and focuses on teaching core business values.
• Bachelor of Interior design, which is provided online and offline i.e., on-campus.

Yorkville University Fees:

The tuition fee structure is different for different courses and is also determined by the number of credits scored by individual students.

For the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology:

• Fees for trimester 1: CAD 4830
• Fees for Trimester 2 to 5: CAD 6210 per trimester
• Fees for Trimester 6: CAD 4140

For the Master of Education

• Fees for trimester 1 to 6: CAD 4020 per trimester

For Bachelor of Business Administration:

Fees are calculated based on a number of courses taken per term.

• If a student opts for 2 Courses per term: CAD 2490 
• If a student opts for 3 Courses per term: CAD 3735
• If a student opts for 4 Courses per term: CAD 4980
• If an international student wishes to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration, he/she is required to pay CAD 518.75 for each credit hour.

For Bachelor of Interior Design:

For Domestic Students:

• Term 1 to 12: CAD 5205 per term

For International Students:

• Term 1 to 12: CAD 6506.25 per term

The payment of fees for any program must be made at least two weeks before the start of term. Payments can also be made every month. To honor the efforts of the Canadian military forces, the University provides unique benefits to the members of the military forces and their families.

Yorkville University Requirements:

Students are expected to go through the individual course criteria and requirements before enrolling for the respective courses. The criteria for admission to different undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses are given on the university website. Students can check the same online and apply accordingly.

Students whose first language is not English are required to submit the proof of an official English proficiency test to show their English language learning and understanding capability. The language proficiency criteria differ from course-to-course.

Yorkville University Application process:

The application procedure for each course differs for domestic and international students, but there are some common steps to be followed by all the students.

• Go to the official website of the University, www.yorkvilleu.ca.
• Select the option “Admission” tab.
• Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
• Read every instruction carefully
•  Fill the form, which involves filling up all the personal details and provide the mentioned documents.
• Students are supposed to pay the application fee of CAD 75, either online or offline.
• Send all the compulsory documents and proof of identity through the post and complete the application procedure.
• International candidates are required to submit notarized copies of all the documents as a part of the application process.

Yorkville University Financial Aid:

Yorkville University provides financial aid to several students who cannot afford the fees for their respective courses. Students have a wide range of resources available when it comes to undergraduate and postgraduate education.

Canada Student Loan Program:

The Government of Canada provides students with financial aid who cannot afford to pay the fees. The Yorkville University has been authorized to participate in the Canada Student Loan Program

Students are not charged any interest for the loans they take and can be paid back by them once they complete their respective course from the University.

A student from all the provinces and areas are eligible to apply for these loans. 

Student Line of Credit:

A majority of well-renowned banks in Canada offer lines of credit and other programs particularly designed for students.

RCC Institute of Technology participates in several bank-sponsored academic student loan programs for graduate and professional study, which are available to Canadian citizens and landed immigrants.

For any line of credit program, students typically must visit their local branch to apply.

Savings Plan:

 The Government of Canada has launched another program called the Registered Education Savings Plan that provides aid to Canadians to save for a child’s post-secondary education. Courses offered at Yorkville University are eligible under the RESP.

Students with a registered Education savings Plan generally requires a letter of acceptance from their faculty member to generate funds for their use.

Lifelong Learning Plan:

Under the Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP), the government of Canada allows Canadians to withdraw up to $10,000 during the entire year. This amount has to be mandatorily withdrawn from their registered retirement savings plans (RRSPs). The amount withdrawn can then be used to finance a full-time or part-time training or educational program for self or a spouse or common-law partner. This amount cannot be used by Canadians to enroll their children for any program at the University.
