UGC Scholarship – Eligibility 

Scholarship Eligibility
Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child-Girl student, -maximum 30years of age, -should be single girl child of the family, -should have taken admission in the first year of a regular, full-time PG program at a recognized college/university. 
Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holder-Students who have completed their graduation in the fields of Chemical Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Social Science, Life Science and Commerce can apply, -maximum 30years of age, -minimum graduation marks obtained should be 60%-should be the 1st/2nd rank holder at the undergraduate level, and enrolled in a full-time master’s program at a recognized college/university. 
Post Graduate Scholarships for Professional Courses for SC/ST Candidates -SC/ST students-open for students that are pursuing their 1st year of the professional program at a postgraduate level during the current year from a recognized college/university-professional courses are the ones that are approved by bodies like MCI, NCTE, Bar Council of India, NCTIS, RCI, DCI, PCI, AICTE, Development Authority of India, Forensic Regulatory, INC and ICAR 
Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER-open for students having domicile of the North-Eastern Region (NER)-student should complete his class 12th or equivalent -must have secured admission in a technical, general or professional degree course at a recognized college/university-maximum annual income of the family should be Rs 4.5lakhs.
Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship for Research in Social Sciences -open for transgender students too-open for single girl child-maximum age for general category is 40years-maximum age for ST/OBC/SC/PwD category is 45years.-student should be pursuing a regular, full-time PhD program at a recognized college/university-students pursuing distance learning PhD programs cannot apply for this scholarship.
Emeritus Fellowship-open to highly qualified and experienced teachers of recognized colleges/universities-fellowship allows the awardee to work with a time-bound and well-defined action plan, up to the age of 70.-applicant must have contributed to his service career with published and research work.
Dr. S. Radharkrishnan Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Humanities and Social Sciences-open for unemployed young researchers -maximum 35years of age-open for transgender candidates too-for general category students, minimum marks obtained at undergraduate level should be 55% and that at postgraduate level should be 60%.
Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme-maximum 35years of age-should hold a PhD degree under the Science faculty -teachers below 35years of age can apply too.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidates-open for unemployed women candidates-maximum 55years of age-open for transgender candidates too- for general category students, minimum marks obtained at undergraduate level should be 55% and that at postgraduate level should be 60%. 
Post-Doctoral Fellowship to SC/ST Candidates -open for unemployed candidates who have a PhD degree in the relevant subject-open for transgender candidates too-maximum age limit for females is 55years and that for males is 50years-minimum marks obtained at undergraduate level should be 50% and that at postgraduate level should be 55%.
National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste Students-open for transgender candidates too-open for students who hold a postgraduate degree and have registered for a PhD/M.Phil. course.
National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students-open for students who hold a postgraduate degree-candidate should be registered in a full-time PhD/M.Phil. course at a university/college recognized by UGC. 
National Fellowship for Persons with Disabilities -open for students with disabilities who have enrolled for a PhD/M.Phil. course at a recognized university/college.
Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students-open to students from minority communities -open to transgender candidates too- candidate should be registered in a full-time PhD/M.Phil. course-maximum family income should be Rs 2.5lakhs-minimum marks obtained at postgraduate level should be 50%.
National Fellowship for OBC Candidate -open for transgender candidates too-maximum family income should be Rs 6lakhs-open for students hold a postgraduate degree and have registered in a full-time PhD/M.Phil. course at a recognized university/college.
