Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a nation-wide test for section into M.Pharm programs.   • One can even pursue a Ph.D. in the research and development field as for that, the score will be valid for about 3 years. One can try and make the most use of it and pursue a higher degree just after post-graduation.

Preparation For GPAT

This examination opens the door for various other examinations and scholarship degrees. This is considered one of the most important exams when it comes to biosciences. Therefore, one has to be well prepared before giving this exam and has to figure the best way to score maximum.

Some of the most important topics in this examination which have been repeated year after year are:

  • Pharmaceutics 
  • Pharmacology: Parts and loads of weightage. Study tranquilize cooperation, system, and symptoms (not general ones like sickness spewing). Use memory aids to learn to a group of medications and their names.

Eligibility For GPAT

The aspirant who wants to give this examination should follow the below-mentioned criteria to see if they are eligible for the evaluation or not.

  • The aspirant should be of Indian originality having valid documents.
  • The aspirant should have done a basic of graduation in B.Pharma.
  • There is no age cap for the aspirants. Anyone can apply for this test following they have a degree or are in the final year of getting one.
  • Aspirants having a B.Tech degree are not eligible.

Dates and Result For GPAT

Some of the following dates which one needs to keep in mind if they are interested in giving this examination are:

  • In November, the registration for the exam begins.
  • The last date for online registration is the first week of December.
  • The aspirant receives the admit card by the last week of December.
  • The final date of the examination is around the last week of January or the first week of February.
  • An answer key is out after 2-3 days of the examination.
  • The results of the examination are out within 7-8 days after the examination. Cut off is decided by the governing body and changes every year depending on the average marks the community gets.
