Pre Matric Scholarship 2020
The pre matric scholarship students for the year 2020 will be provided for the minority community students and the students having their family’s total annual income of less than Rs.1 lakh. For getting this pre matric scholarship, the students should not have scored below 50% in the previous year’s final examinations.
For the betterment of education of girls students from the economically backward and minority community family, 30% scholarship is reserved especially for them in the particular state or UT. The scholarship amount will be provided as the lump sum for 10 months i.e, for the entire course duration.

How to apply for the Pre Matric Scholarship?
Students studying from class 1 to 10th can apply for this pre matric scholarship through the online website www.scholarships.gov.in (National Scholarship Portal). The basic procedure for the application process includes
- The students have to log on to the website and register themselves.
- The information including their name, date of birth, mail ID, the mobile number should be correctly entered.
- Bank details including name, branch, account number, IFSC code should be correctly filled by the students on the portal.
- If the details entered by the students are not correct, then the scholarship will be canceled for that particular student.
- The entered bank account can be in the name of the student or it may be a joint account with their mother or father or a legal guardian.
- The bank account given should be active until the scholarship amount is transferred to that account.

Minority Pre Matric Scholarship
The scholarship is provided by the MOMA for developing the education of minority community students in India. The benefits acquired from this scholarship are listed below.

Pre Matric Scholarship Kerala
Kerala government offers an educational scholarship for the OBC students studying from class 1 to 10 in Government or Government aided schools in Kerala. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1500/- For applying for this scholarship, the family’s total income of the student should not exceed Rs.2.5 Lakh. The students applying for this scholarship should have scored above 80% in their previous year examinations.
