This is the state implemented scheme i.e. Dr Ambedkar Scholarship for Chandigarh/Tripura/Haryana given by State governments/Union administration/Universities/colleges etc.
This scheme works under the ratio of 75:25 funding between the Centre and the state. The DNTs stand for the Denotified, Nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes which obviously are excluded from the Scheduled Casts, Tribes and other backward classes.

The applicant has to follow the laid down procedure provided in their official website to complete the registration process. To be eligible for the scholarship program one will have to provide documents necessary to verify in the procedure. The applicant will have to submit the attested photocopies. The scholarship aims to provide to those backward class of our society who fails to achieve something. In order to achieve this certain goal, they will have to be sure to whom they will have to provide such help. The certainty of providing help only to those who are required is a must.
- The student must be of a bonafide resident of the area which requires and provide the scholarship, to be eligible for this scholarship program.
- The applicant must be from the SC/backward Class or the Nomadic/semi- Nomadic people or the other backward classes of the society
- The net family income of the student shouldn’t be more than 4 lakhs.
- The student must not be benefitted from any other merit-based scheme to be eligible to benefit from this.

Dr Ambedkar Scholarship – Required Documents
To be eligible for the scholarship program one will have to provide documents necessary to verify in the procedure. The applicant will have to submit the attested photocopies of all the following
- Caste certificate
- Aadhar Card
- Mark sheets of the exams passed
- Bank account number of the applicant
- Applicant’s identity card
- Income certificate

Dr Ambedkar scholarship 2018
The idea behind Dr Ambedkar scholarship 2018 is to provide financial assistance to the students who couldn’t afford to study and couldn’t come under any reserved category.
The application was available in the portal for the students in the 3rd week of September. Every detail right from new policies regarding the scholarships to admission details is provided there.
- The eligibility criteria are also available in the portal and students can check out the examination date from there only.
- The application form date of 2018 was in the 3rd week of September
- The last date to apply for and fill in the application was on 2nd week of October in the year 2018

Dr Ambedkar scholarship 2019
The student who has applied the previous year but couldn’t complete his/her form is still eligible to apply this year and their PMS number will remain the same.
Even if the student was allowed in the previous year but still couldn’t get through is still eligible but will have to again apply using the same aadhar card.
He will have to fill the current qualification and the necessary fee required according to the changes made.
- If an application is not made eligible by rejecting his/her application they will still be eligible to apply the next year
