“I was invited to a Halloween party by my South American friends and they forced me to try a Mexican drink named ‘Mezcal’ a kind of tequila where after the shot instead of lemon you eat worms. I almost retched myself!”

I decided to study abroad in Australia as it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with top Universities. The experience of studying abroad in Australia is really special. You learn and get qualified while enjoying a great, different lifestyle. Australia is also one of the research intensive countries with strong research and development capabilities. It was fun to live and interact with people from disparate countries and cultures. I was invited to a Halloween party by my South American friends and they forced me to try a Mexican drink named ‘Mezcal’ a kind of tequila where after the shot instead of lemon you eat worms. I almost retched myself! I took a trip to Phillip Island with three of my friends from Spain. We wandered in the the lush green beaches for hours with no persons around. The next stop was the tourist information center where we saw a board which read as “Our shy Snake, Be careful as Island is full of copperhead snakes, If you see our shy snakes just leave them in the sun,” and last line was “there is no antivenom for poison”. Suddenly the idea of wandering around was not that appealing. Staying in Australia is a great experience and the best part of being here is having friends from all over the world.
