Prateek Biyani – The University of Sydney, Australia

“The farewell night in Texas after my semester abroad was one memorable event that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was a long night of chatting, singing, dancing and sharing stories!”

Since the day I decided that I wanted to pursue my further education abroad,I did some research on what countries have more job opportunities for me in the future for my field of study and salaries in my future profession along with the University rankings. Based on all of these I chose to come to Sydney. The academic experience is great. I had the chance to spend a semester abroad in the USA. The farewell night in Texas after my semester abroad was one memorable event that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was a long night of chatting, singing, dancing and sharing stories. The friends I made there in a span of 4 months who I know will stay in my heart for the rest of my life. They made Austin feel like a home away from home. I traveled a lot during my studies abroad. I went to Langkawi, Malaysia with my friends for a mid term break. It was such a great experience living with them, exploring new places, partying on the beach and pretty much doing all those unspeakable crazy things with them. You truly become international, a global citizen. It’s easier to understand different people, you see other people’s perspectives, become more adjusting, independent and responsible and it gives you a chance to see the world and develop your very own understanding of it.
