Jyotismita Khaund – RMIT University, Melbourne

“Once I and my friend were preparing for a test in the student vault. It was late evening and all of a sudden we observed an Annabelle kind of doll kept on the top of one of the pillars This scared us so bad that we ran from that place!”

I visited Melbourne and Sydney as a tourist and during the trip I decided to study abroad in Australia. I found Melbourne relatively more student friendly as compared to Sydney and while I was wandering through the city of Melbourne, I came across RMIT University, which is right in the heart of Melbourne Central. Later, I explored more about the University and took this decision of studying here as it is very liveable and beautiful.I am really enjoying my time here and I have gone through many wonderful and exciting experiences. I have my share of funny incidents as well. Once I and my friend were preparing for a test in the student vault. It was late evening and all of a sudden we observed an Annabelle kind of doll kept on the top of one of the pillars! This scared us so bad that we ran from that place. I also travelled a lot there. Me and my childhood friend visited Phillip island during our Easter break. It was a great trip. The place is extremely beautiful and the little penguins are just the Cherry on the top. So this trip included hiking, which both of us were unaware of, we were made to walk more than 6 kms in sand and both of us had to run after the whole group as we were left behind because we were too busy clicking pictures.I am totally loving my time here!
